Bespoke Residential Architecture

Damion Furness is a professional architect, specialising in bespoke private homes, tailor made for each client and aiming to reflect their personality, originality, taste and standard of living. Damion graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1995 and completed an internship in the UK.

The Architectural practice of Damion Furness Architect , designs dream homes for every client’s needs and lifestyle. The practice has been in existence since 2003 as Meinesz and Furness Architects and since 2013 as Damion Furness Architect, still working in association with Menno Meinesz, who has set up a smaller architectural practice in Elgin in the Western Cape.

During this period the practice has produced an exemplary architectural portfolio of high quality homes, coastal homes, holiday beach houses, game lodges, hotels and commercial shops.      

The Architectural practice is based in Johannesburg but undertakes projects throughout South Africa having done a wide variety of residential projects in Gauteng, Kwazulu Natal, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, the Orange Free State and the Western Cape.
